d-Limonene is the major constituent of the oil in the peel of all edible citrus fruits. (Braddock 1999)

Orange Cold Pressed Oil comes from the first pressing of the orange peel.

Orange Terpenes are produced by distilling Orange Cold Pressed Oil. This process is often called folding. Orange Terpenes are typically 95% d-limonene.

Citrus Terpenes come from the second pressing of the orange peel. d-Limonene and Citrus Terpenes are often used as synonyms in the marketplace.

d-Limonene is a natural compound found in over 300 different essential oils ranging from 0.1 - 95%. The most common commercial source is essential oil extracted from the peels of citrus fruit.
